Spend some time on an adventure with the camera. During this session, I will capture those perfect little moments between the two of you. When we are shooting an Engagement Session the mood is fun and relaxed. Don't worry - I will help with posing, if needed, but I aim primarily to document true, authentic moments. This session is great practice for the camera-shy. When the wedding day arrives you'll already know what to expect. Just one less thing to worry about!

For most weddings, I deliver a minimum of 70-100 images per hour of coverage, but I usually end up with more than that.
Engagement, Portrait, and Boudoir Sessions yield 70+ images you will have available to view.
HOW MANY IMAGES CAN WE EXPECT?
Upon signing the contract, you are required to pay half of the total as a booking retainer. The remaining balance is due 30 days before the event date. I can arrange a payment plan if needed. My preferred payment methods are Zelle and Venmo, but I also take credit cards or checks.
HOW DOES THE PAYMENT PROCESS WORK?
Great! I work on a first-come, first-served basis and have limited dates available. Your wedding date is firmly secured once the retainer is paid and the contract signed. Unfortunately, I cannot hold dates for you without a retainer and a signed contract. Please let me know when you're ready to book, and I'll send you the information you need.
WE ARE READY TO BOOK. WHAT NEXT?
If the photos are for a "Save the Date," the Engagement Session should be scheduled at least one month before the date you plan to send out the cards. Another thing to consider is the type of look and feel you want in your images. Believe it or not, we do have seasons here in The Bay Area. Do you want spring flowers or autumn leaves? Please keep in mind that during the wedding season, weekends may be very limited in availability.
WE BOOKED AN ENGAGEMENT SESSION. WHEN SHOULD WE DO IT?
All of the images are print-ready. They are edited for exposure, contrast, and color tone (similar to what you see on my site). Some will be B&W and some color.
WILL MY PHOTOS BE EDITED?
Yes. I always have multiple camera bodies, lenses, batteries, and more memory cards than needed at all weddings. I take protecting your images very seriously. On-site duplicates are created, and after the wedding, they are stored in a separate location from the primary files to act as yet another level of backup for your important images.
DO YOU HAVE BACKUP GEAR?
In the rare case that a higher force of nature prevents me from being there on your wedding day, I have a trusted arsenal of professional photographers to call upon. I have worked with these respected photographers in the past. They are experienced and professional and capture stunning images. I will edit all work.
WHAT IF YOU'RE SICK ON OUR WEDDING DAY?
Some couples choose a unique location that reflects their personalities. Consider spots that inspire and have meaning to the two of you. It's best to avoid busy locations and monuments. I love doing shoots that highlight your relationship. If you need ideas, I am here to help brainstorm some locations. Also, I love to travel. If you are considering an out-of-area location, ask me about my travel fees.
HOW DO WE CHOOSE A LOCATION FOR THE ENGAGEMENT SHOOT?
Yes, I love to travel! I have been lucky enough to do weddings around the world. Just ask—you never know if I might be headed to your location already!
DO YOU TRAVEL FOR WEDDINGS?
For Weddings, it usually takes me 5-8 weeks to edit and upload the images to the online gallery for viewing. The turnaround time for Engagement, Portrait, and Boudoir Sessions is 1-2 weeks. Online printed image orders take 1-2 weeks. Albums can take 3-5 weeks.
