A Magical Waterfall Lodge Wedding

Bride and Groom at the waterfall lodge

I am obsessed with redwoods and add a wedding to the mix! That is my happy place. I marvel over these ancient giants that are everywhere in Northern California, especially in the beautiful Santa Cruz Mountains. These ancient giants never fail to amaze me. So, when Jared and Daisy told me they were getting married at the enchanting Waterfall Lodge, I couldn’t contain my excitement.

The venue itself feels like it’s straight out of a fairytale. It’s nestled in the heart of the forest, surrounded by towering trees and lush greenery. The lodge itself is a work of art constructed with 19th-century reclaimed barn wood and lumber from the very trees that reside on the mountain. The combination of historic beauty and rustic charm creates a truly magical atmosphere. At the Waterfall Lodge, there are 32 charming cabins, a magnificent lodge, and redwoods in every direction. It’s a place where adventure among the redwoods awaits at every turn.

But my favorite part of Jared and Daisy’s wedding was when they performed a song together during the ceremony. It was a truly meaningful moment, filled with pure love and joy. Capturing these timeless and emotional moments is what I love most about being a photographer. It’s a way to preserve the essence of a special day for years to come. I couldn’t be happier for Jared and Daisy as they embark on this beautiful journey together.
