I had been wanting to shoot a Big Sur engagement session for a while, so when Priscilla and Duy said they wanted to do their engagement session in Big Sur, I couldn’t have been more excited. Being a California native, I think Big Sur is the crown jewel of our beautiful California coastline and is something you have to see in person to appreciate. It was such an inspiring backdrop for these two sweet and adventurous people. We spent the warm afternoon driving up and down the coast and stopped at so many great spots including the famous Bixby Creek Bridge. All you Big Little Lies fans know it well (I cannot wait for season two)! There is a little of everything here and we had best time hiking from forest to beach. Oh and did I mention the light? It’s magical and there is something very special about it. I had the best time capturing their Big Sur engagement session and cannot wait for their wedding next year.
