Cloughjordan House Wedding

Bride-and-groom-at-Cloughjordan-HouseWhen Allison and Aaron contacted me about moving their wedding date, I thought it was Covid-related because that was the type of email I was getting back then. In actuality, the change was due to a 5000-miles-away relocation from California to Ireland – to a quaint little town named Cloughjordan, nestled in the countryside.  The Irish countryside is known for its natural beauty, rich culture, and friendly people. I wasn’t going to say no to that!

The wedding took place at The Cloughjordan House, an 800-year-old manor that used to be a dairy farm.  It is now a family-run wedding venue, culinary school, and garden. With the historic manor, full of character; vibrant landscape, complete with wild daffodils; and amazing, locally-grown and -sourced food, this spot was a perfect backdrop to celebrate these two in true Irish style.

A wedding in the Irish countryside is a truly special experience. The natural beauty, warm hospitality, and rich culture of Ireland come together to create a memorable and meaningful celebration of love.

*A special thank you to my friend Amy Little. She happened to be in Ireland at the same time and took a break from her vacation to help me out on this one.
