It’s been a long time since I did a portrait session with my very best friend Tracy. I have known her for….. Well, honestly I don’t remember a time I didn’t know her. I met her in first grade and we have been friends ever since. We have been through so much together – broken hearts, long talks on the kitchen counter (yes, counter – we used to live in a place with this great kitchen… we would sit on the counter and talk for hours about boys, life, and pig out on mint chip ice cream) and of course laughs… lots of laughs… side splitting, belly aching, tears-rolling-down-our-face laughs. She even says I saved her life once (really long story… who has the time?!) and I definitely think she has saved mine a few times as well. I am certainly a better person having her in my life.
